Reading Subject Leader: Nic Fallon

We currently send home books from a range of different schemes including Oxford Reading Tree, Bug Club, Rigby Star and Big Cat.

There are a mixture of book banded story based texts and phonetically decodeable readers.

Children are regularly assessed against the book bands and for their phonic progress to ensure they are bringing home books at the right level.
