Chris Rush

I am honored to serve as Chair of the Full Governing Body at Nevill Road Infant School. As a passionate advocate for education and community wellbeing, I am committed to supporting the school in providing a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment where every child can thrive.

I have almost 20 years of experience in the environment and sustainability industry - working across a range of sectors at the intersection of science, engineering, and practical solutions. The focus of my work is to support healthier, more sustainable communities.

Drawing on my experience and collaborative approach from the private sector, I work alongside fellow governors, staff, and parents to ensure the school continues to deliver high-quality education and strong support for all pupils.

I look forward to contributing to the ongoing success and development of our school community.

Anthony Poole

I am a primary school teacher and I work in a large three form entry, semi-urban school in Cheshire. I am passionate about education and providing the very best opportunities for all pupils. I consider a rich and engaging curriculum imperative in fuelling a desire for learning and learning for life.

I am a firm believer that school should be at the heart of the community. I became a governor to offer my skills and experience to support the school in taking account of the views of the entire school community (teachers, pupils, governors, parents and other supporting agencies) to become the best it can be.

As the current Headteacher of Nevill Road Infant School, I have had extensive experience in the education sector. Since my first teaching position in 1997, I have been passionate about raising standards and aspiration in schools and ensuring that the children in my care receive the best I can possibly offer.

I have had the honour of working in a variety of roles within education including time as a school improvement adviser and lead teacher. I have also been the deputy headteacher of 3 schools and a Headteacher since 2012.

I am committed to the community that our school serves and I am proud to be able to give time to working with the governors to ensure Nevill Road is the best it possibly can be.
